Pope and Young Colored Bears of the Interlake Region

Gary Whidden of Texas shown here with just one of his few colored black bears taken with Agassiz Outfitters, that all smashed the Pope And Young minimum score. This big reddish-chocolate spring bear was over 7 feet long weighing in at just over 400 pounds. Wow what a bear and Congratulations Gary! You just never know what is going to appear at our baits in the "World Famous" Interlake Region of Manitoba.
