Manitoba Spring Bear Season 2025 is Approaching Quick!

Here is a pretty neat video of a young bear from last fall when I was checking some baits.  When I approached this particular site, there was this real nice boar at the bait (please see photo) so I waited until he wandered off to freshen the bait.  While I was freshening the bait, I heard something up in the tree to my left and noticed this young bear that decided to come down as I guess he felt that I wasn't a threat unlike the boar that had treed him (please see video).  Thought I would share this as you can see how close I was to this young bear when he came down in a matter of a few feet from my quad.  It's amazing how many bears we see sometimes checking baits when we have a good wind and idol in very slow.  Our 2025 spring bear season is once again booked solid and we can't wait to be back at our black bear camp soon!
