2024 Manitoba Fall Black Bear Season fast approaching!!

Pictured here is Chris from Indiana with his gorgeous color phase black bear he took with us, just this past spring 2024. Chris was on his very first bear hunt ever and took this huge black bear on the first night of his six day hunt. We commonly get asked; "Do color bears get big?" Chris's bear is just one of many color phase black bears taken with us over the past 30+ years that has made the Manitoba Record Books, so yes they can get extremely big too with good genetics, great habitat and great black bear management which our area of the Province is known for. Our black bear territory is situated in the Northern Interlake Region which is known for some of the biggest black bears in the world.  So when hunting with us you just never know what you might see in our vast and remote hunting areas, as many of our guests can attest to. Congratulations Chris on your bear of a lifetime, what a bear!!

Once again we are gearing up for an extremely busy 2024 Fall Manitoba Black Bear season.  Preparations are in full swing.  We are looking forward to seeing all of our guests real soon.
