Manitoba Wolf Hunts
World Class Canadian Outfitting
A big plus to hunting in Manitoba is the ability to take a wolf and coyote on any open big game tag; this does not fill the tag. A non-resident may hunt wolves and coyotes during the wolf and coyote season only if they possess an unused deer, moose or black bear game tag , which is valid for that game hunting area (GHA), species and time period. Wolves and coyotes can be hunted under the authority of any big game license, and as such, there are no tagging requirements. The hunter's big game license number is all that is required to possess a wolf and coyote taken under the authority of that license.
Our moose hunters, whitetail hunters and black bear hunters have several opportunities each year to take a wolf and coyote and some real trophies have been taken. An extra added bonus to your Manitoba Whitetail Deer hunting trip in our whitetail area of the province only; deer hunters can harvest 2 timber wolves, which some big game hunters consider a timber wolf a great trophy!
A cities permit is required before transporting a wolf out of Canada. Our local taxidermist in our area can prepare all documentation and permits required to ship back to you. If you wish to have the taxidermy completed and a mount of your choice done, we can go over those options prior to your departure.
